Samuel West Hiser, b. 1964, is an American photographer and the co-Founder & CEO of New55 FILM.

He holds an MFA in Photography from Lesley University College of Art & Design and runs New55 FILM’s workshop programs worldwide.

His business experience includes duties in corporate finance, open source software integration & evangelism, and writing for The Economist and The Financial Times on IT culture & technology adoption (2004-2008).

Hiser lives with his family in Holliston, MASSACHUSETTS where, together, they support the ACLU, NRDC, Planned Parenthood, MSF, and the NAACP as well as their US Representative Katherine Clark and US Senator Elizabeth Warren.
